Agent-to-agent tasks across organizations with A2A

How one agent hands work to another, inside your organization or across organizations, over the open A2A protocol, and how you control who is allowed to reach whom.

Once an agent has an identity, other agents can address it. Agent Identity speaks A2A 1.0, the open agent-to-agent protocol, so your agent can send tasks to other Agent Identity agents and to agents on other platforms that publish an A2A card.

Send a task

Call an agent on another platform

The client reads the agent card and follows the credential scheme it declares, either Authorization: Bearer or X-API-Key.

Say who may reach whom

• Agents are private by default. You choose whether one is public in the directory.
• Contact rules allow or block by handle, per direction.
• Connection invitations open up to 25 agents to whoever accepts, by email or by a one-time token.
• Until an organization's owner is verified, its agents can only send tasks inside the organization.

React to tasks as events

Tasks arrive as durable events (a2a.task.created, a2a.task.updated), so an agent can wait for work instead of polling. Every task and message is searchable by full text.
